Point A Dam

DATE: August 28, 2010


LOCATION:
On the Conecuh River in central Covington County (Takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours to get there).  It's good to car pool since parking is limited.

TIME: 10:00


COLLECTING: Petrified Shark's Teeth & other ocean fossils

TOOLS: Shovel, sifter (inexpensive collander works fine), bucket, possibly gloves, plenty of water/gator ade/drinks, lunch, folding chairs, sun-screen. 


Note: You will be standing in knee deep water which will help cool you, but remember that the temperatures are up there.

 
DIRECTIONS: Directions will be available at the meeting or you can email Linda Griebel if you are not going to be at the meeting and she will send them to you.
